Jyotiba Temple Kolhapur

Jyotiba is Avatar of Lord Shiva. It’s 13 km from Kolhapur. The temple is quite beautiful. It is generally crowded on Sundays. Panhala is quite near from this temple so you can also visit that while your return journey. temple was build in 1730 by Navajisaya.



Mahalaxmi defeat Kolhasur and decided to settle in Kolhapur. For the complete defense of her empire, she appointed four guards at the four sides of Kolhapur. Among these four guards, the most important is Jyotiba. It is one of the Jyotirlingas
